Job Title: Quality Manager

Salary: £37,400

15-16 month (Maternity Cover)

We’re on the lookout for a Quality Manager to join our client’s team in Belfast, offering a salary of up to £37,400.

In this role, you'll play a key part in making sure high standards of quality and food safety are upheld, helping to keep things running smoothly at the depot.

Your day-to-day will involve reviewing, updating, and managing their Quality and Business manuals and product specifications. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring they meet all the right quality standards, working with external bodies like BRC, FEMAS, ESAD, ISO 9001 to make sure everything’s up to scratch. A big part of the role will be leading the implementation of BRC9 systems and being the go-to person during external and customer audits. You’ll also manage and audit food safety policies, handle customer and supplier complaints, and work on solutions for any product issues.

We’re looking for someone with a third-level qualification in a life science, food, or chemical-related field (though this isn’t essential), and if you have experience in manufacturing, distribution, or chemical storage, even better! Strong communication skills are a must, as you’ll be building relationships with both internal teams and external customers. A good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP & database systems will also come in handy.
