Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
As a traveling Territory Sales Manager of Computer/IT Hardware and Electronic Components Sales, you will be responsible for selling computer hardware and electronic components to customers throughout your state or even across the US. This is a remote position that requires frequent travel to customer sites in your city and/or country.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
Travel to customer sites to conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations
Achieve and exceed sales targets for computer hardware and electronic components
Provide expert advice and support to customers regarding product selection, technical specifications, and pricing
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and success
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities
Interface with Vyrians internal trading, purchasing, marketing, and operations teams.
Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred. Also, accept other degrees with sufficient relative experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of computer hardware and electronic components
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Strong knowledge of computer hardware and electronic component products and their applications
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel frequently
Valid driver's license
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Preferred Qualifications:
Existing network of contacts in the computer hardware and electronic components industry
Experience working in a remote sales position
