The Senior Manager of Digital Learning leads the development, implementation, and management of digital learning strategies, overseeing the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of online training programs. Collaborate with senior leadership, human resources, and other stakeholders to ensure digital learning solutions meet organizational needs
Program Design and Development:
Oversee the design and development of high-quality digital learning programs, including e-learning courses, virtual instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions
Manage the development of learning materials, ensuring alignment with adult learning principles, instructional design models, and industry best practices
Work closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and content developers to ensure learning content is engaging, effective, and accessible
Technology and Innovation:
Lead the selection and implementation of learning technologies, including learning management systems (LMS), learning experience platforms, and authoring tools
Stay up to date with digital learning trends and innovations, introducing new tools and technologies to enhance the learning experience
Ensure the digital learning ecosystem integrates seamlessly with other enterprise systems (e.g., HRIS, CRM) to support learning management, tracking, and reporting
Team Leadership and Development:
Manage and mentor a team of digital learning professionals, including instructional designers, e-learning developers, LMS administrators, and content creators
Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement within the digital learning team
Ensure the professional development of team members through training, coaching, and skill development opportunities
Evaluation and Analytics:
Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness and ROI of digital learning programs, using data-driven insights to inform continuous improvement
Monitor and report on learner engagement, course completion rates, and other key performance indicators (KPIs)
Conduct learner feedback surveys, focus groups, and evaluations to ensure programs meet learning objectives and are aligned with business goals
Budget and Resource Management:
Manage the digital learning budget, ensuring optimal use of resources and alignment with organizational priorities
Negotiate with vendors and service providers for digital learning tools, platforms, and services
Ensure the timely delivery of digital learning projects, meeting both budgetary and timeline constraints
Business Collaboration:
Partner with internal teams, such as HR, IT, and business unit leaders, to assess training needs and ensure digital learning programs address critical skill gaps
Engage with external vendors, consultants, and technology providers to implement and enhance learning solutions
Communicate the vision, progress, and impact of digital learning initiatives to senior executives and stakeholders
Compliance and Accessibility:
Ensure all digital learning content meets compliance, regulatory, and accessibility standards
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and ensure the organization's digital learning programs comply with all relevant legal and corporate guidelines
