Job Description
Renesas is looking for an electrical engineer graduate student to join our team as a Design Verification Engineer in our Morrisville, NC office. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the architectural and design teams to understand and fully verify the different IP’s. The candidate will have a strong background using SystemVerilog and/or Verilog-AMS and experience in mixed-signal (analog-digital) simulation environments. Experience generating Real Number Models for analog systems is highly desirable.
You will be responsible for implementing and owning the verification environments for these complex power management IC designs.
Responsibilities:
Actively assist in all stages of product development including specification, Digital and Analog Design Verification and Silicon debugging.
Generate the Verification Plan and set up and maintain the Verification Environment
Develop, and verify self-checking test benches for Mixed Signal chips and sub-circuits.
Generate AMS models to enable accurate system level simulation.
Focus on enhancing the test coverage, efficiency, and overall effectiveness of the verification process.
Debug and report design issues and work with the design teams to solve issues as needed.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and progress.
Participate in regular meetings and provide updates on project progress.
Work diligently to accomplish project goals and meet schedule requirements.
Drive towards continuous personal, team, project, and Company improvement
