Our organisation is looking for a Deputy Nursing Home Manager for our nursing home in Ilford.
Springfield Care Home is a large nursing home located in the heart of Ilford. This home which is overall good with CQC, has a strong dedicated staff team, longevity Home Manager and supportive Directors.
This position is fully supernumerary hours, Monday to Friday. Competitive salary and benefits.
Main Responsibilities:;
* Organise and supervise clinical staff and develop their professional abilities in line with the hospital’s policies, methods and procedures.
* Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by nurses and report issues in a timely manner.
* Ensure that junior nurses are properly trained.
* Identify potential complaints and resolve them before they become a problem for patients, the hospital or other nurses.
* Provide coaching on leadership skills to nursing staff.
* Manage conflict resolution and workplace disputes.
* Coordinate activities for nurses in related fields, and share information with them.
You must be:
* A registered nurse with experience of managing a team;
* Must have couple years’ experience as a senior nurse;
* Experienced in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services;
* Experienced in working in the healthcare sector;
* Driven and motivated and believe in quality care;
* An energetic, committed and approachable manager;
* An inspiring leader who can motivate teams through obvious passion and commitment.
