Introduction to the Company

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, award-winning business that is an industry leader with a nationwide customer base. As they continue to expand, they are looking for passionate individuals to make tools for use in their production process.

Reporting to the Tool Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for making precision tools which will be used in the manufacturing process onsite.

Description of the role:

Reading engineering drawings to produce parts using lathes, milling machines, and grinding machines.
Conducting test runs ensuring all parts meet specifications and adjusting when required.
Fitting and assembling parts to make, repair or modify tools.
Setting up CNC or NC machine tools including milling machines and grinders to shape parts.
Inspecting finished items and checking for fittings and defects.

About you:

Apprenticeship or above in Machining or Engineering.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Understanding of metals and other materials.
Good problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of numeracy, literacy, and IT.

Additional Information/Benefits:

Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm.
Pension contribution of 5%.
Free parking onsite.
Excellent working environment and facilities
