Job Title: Data Analytics Engineer – Must have Insurance experience
Location: London 2-3 days a week on-site
Salary: £62,000, 15% bonus

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of developing tools, visualizations, and strategies to enhance data accessibility and accuracy. Your contributions will support decision-making processes across the organization, combining hands-on engineering with leadership to influence the analytics vision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analytics Strategy: Drive the company’s analytics strategy by creating data visualizations and analytical tools that empower users with actionable insights.
* Engineering Standards: Develop and implement global standards to ensure the consistency and scalability of analytics products.
* Data Infrastructure: Design and maintain a high-performance data environment, collaborating closely with technical and business teams.
* User Interface Design: Lead the development of user-friendly, visually compelling dashboards and reporting tools in Power BI, ensuring insights are accessible to all users.
* Data Accuracy: Troubleshoot data issues, ensuring consistency and integrity across systems, and promote a single version of data truth.
* Client Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the delivered data solutions meet user acceptance criteria and drive data adoption within the organization.
* Cloud Technologies: Utilize Azure tools, including Data Factory, Synapse, and Data Bricks, to build robust analytics infrastructure, supporting both operational and ad-hoc reporting needs.
* Automation and Improvement: Introduce automation and continuous improvement practices to streamline data access and reporting, enhancing productivity and efficiency across departments.
Technical Skills:
* 5+ years of experience as an analytics engineer with expertise in building data solutions using the Microsoft tech stack (Azure, Power BI).
* Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and a basic understanding of Python in a Spark environment.
* Demonstrated ability to create engineering standards and maintain data consistency across analytical products.
* Experience within Financial Services or Insurance is highly desirable.
* Strong ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
