Data Analyst - £400-£450 per day - Outside IR35 - Hybrid working with 3 days a week in Camden town - 6 months.
My client, a key organisation in the delivery of HS2, is looking for an experienced Data analyst to join them on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data quality management, business intelligence tools, and data visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and audit data quality to ensure accuracy and consistency across all data sources.
Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content and business requirements.
Gather, understand, and document detailed requirements using appropriate tools and techniques.
Manipulate, analyse, and interpret large, complex data sets related to the organisation’s business.
Support and educate business users with their data and reporting needs.
Prepare insightful reports for both internal and external audiences using business analytics tools.
Create dashboards, graphs, and visualisations to present data-driven insights.
Provide sector and competitor benchmarking to support business strategy.
Mine and analyse large datasets to draw valid inferences, presenting key findings to management using reporting tools.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in developing reports and dashboards for diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in mainstream business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, DAX, SQL).
Strong understanding and promotion of data quality best practices.
Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
Familiarity with Azure integration services and cloud-based data management.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and data visualisation skills.
Ability to communicate complex data in a simple and actionable way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Attributes:
Strong attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy.
Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
