THE ROLE - 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Being a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, will require you to assist in planning and delivering lessons, adapting materials and approaches to meet the students unique learning needs. You will work closely with a designated student with autism, providing support to help them access the curriculum and develop essential skills. One of your main responsibilities will be to monitor and access the students progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.

THE SCHOOL - 1:1 Teaching Assistant

The primary school will consist of 470 pupils, aged 3 to 11. They have two forms of entry from Reception through to year 6 and a nursery, where they make sure all their pupils support each other to become confident, secure, caring individuals who achieve personal success and have a lifelong love of learning. They were awarded an impressive rating of ‘Good’ by Ofsted in December 2021.
