The Role – 1:1 Teaching Assistant

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored care to a child within the age range of 5 - 16, some of whom have complex Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs, that will require additional support. Experience in a SEMH setting, as well as a background in sports coaching would be ideal for this role, helping to engage and motivate the child. Also, a background in tutoring is preferred, to help support the students’ academic success.

The School – 1:1 Teaching Assistant

This SEMH School is based in Redbridge, with close transport links to the Central Line. This SEMH School has a total of 74 pupils, which they seek to instil resilience, plus remove any barriers a student may face. Coaching these values is pivotal for success as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant.
