Currently looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a housing developer in their expanding commercial team located in the Midlands area.
As the Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be brought in to run sites ranging from 40-50 units per project, which are high-end properties.
Responsibilities -
Cost Management - Oversee all aspects of cost management for projects, ensuring budget margins are maintained and costs are controlled
Contract Negotiation - Negotiate and procure subcontract orders, ensuring competitive pricing and adhere to quality standards
Financial Reporting - Provide accurate and timely CVR's, highlighting project financial performance and forecasting future expenditure using COINS system.
Risk Management - Identify, assess and manage project risks, implementing effective strategies to mitigate potential issues and losses
Collaboration - Collaborate closely with the project team, architects, engineers and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
