I’m seeking a 1st Line Support Technician on behalf of a cutting-edge biotech company in Cambridge. This is a fantastic 3-month interim opportunity with the potential to go permanent.

Please not this role is full-time on site in Cambridge.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1st line IT support for circa 130 users.
Log and manage IT support tickets, ensuring timely responses and solutions.
Set up and configure new user devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
Assist with basic network troubleshooting, password resets, and access requests.
Escalate more complex issues to Senior IT Engineer / IT Manager
Support staff with common applications such as Office 365 and various applications.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that technical support is delivered efficiently and professionally.
Experience Required:

Previous experience in a 1st line IT support role.
Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking and hardware setup.
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and basic troubleshooting of software and hardware.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
Proactive, with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
