Role: Structural repair engineer - Design.

Technical knowledge, skills

• At least 6 years of experience in a similar position
• Mechanical or Aerospace engineer with experience in design within Repair Engineering field
• Experience in Aircraft repair and mechanical design for metallic airframe structures
• Experience in Wing Repair and Fuelage Repair
• Understanding of SRM, repair documents and drawings.
• Experience in creating Repair Disposition, Repair Instruction, 2D Drawing Creation.
• Able to define mechanical design schemes to achieve the requirements of a project
• Aircraft Design Principles with configuration Management skills
• Able to Interface between Supplier and customer.
• Able to Understand the importance of Various supplier documents.
• Good Communication skills, Planning skills.
• Broad understanding of Stress Engineering as applicable to Repair Design
• Hands on Experience with AutoCAD and PLM applications ( Windchill)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design of repairs for inservice aircraft events or for manufacturing non-confirmities or concession.
• Creation of Repair/Design Approval sheets.
• Providing Aircraft Repair, Modification and Maintenance solutions
• Non conformities analysis for change requests proposal
• Understand the customer requirements and provide the suitable solutions
• Daily governace reports to be prepared to showcase the daily delivery schedule v/s Target.
• Able to shoulder the delivery responsibility for the team such as training, new requirements and Quality check activities.
• Self driven,pro active to take initiatives independently and willing to learn the updates from the customer in short time.
