Service Reception Manager Required in the Epsom, Surrey Area

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 Basic DOE + £38 - £44k OTE
Hours: 45 hours per week Monday - Friday + Saturday mornings on a rota We are currently working with a well-established Motor Trade Dealership who have been operating in the local area for 40 years representing their manufacturer. Our client has won various Automotive industry awards such as Retailer of the Year as well as countless manufacturer specific awards. Join the winning team today! Our client operates on three core pillars of Trust, Care and Quality which is what they promote from Drivers, Valetor all the way up to Managers and Directors.

They are seeking an Experienced Automotive Service Reception Manager who has at least 2 years' experience within a Main Dealership, or similar environment, to join and support the work of their Aftersales department. This is a crucial role to the success of the business, as such, the rewards and benefits they offer set them apart from other dealership in their local area.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Service Reception Manager / Assistant Service Manager to join a company that is committed to ensuring their staff enjoy their working day. Within this Service Reception Manager role your typical duties will include:

Managing the repair of vehicles in a timely manner and to brand standards
Responsible for multi-channel communications with customer in progress
Full administrative support to all areas of the Aftersales Department.
Ensure that the Service Check In and handover process for all visiting customers is followed
Manage liaison between workshop and service reception on customer vehicle progress.
Resolve customer issues in line with manufacturer brand standards and customer expectations.
Manage and check quality of all invoicing to minimise warranty and external debt risk
Deal with all Credit Control department queries in an efficient manner and taking steps to correct further errors.
Full WIP controls
Cash Debt Controls
Ensure that all internal and external customers receive excellent levels of customer service.
Identify any difficulties a customer may experience within any department and resolve these alongside the other departments within the team
Assist the Aftersales Manager with the management and recruitment of the service team .in order to deliver a first class customer experience
Identify team members individual training and development needs
To support Aftersales Manager in additional duties and deputise as requiredWe would love to hear from Automotive industry experienced Senior Service Advisors or Service Reception Managers, be that those more junior to the trade or those who have started their progression journey to Senior Management. What's important to our client is the ability and want to provide exceptional customer service skills whilst being proactive while working in the Aftersales department.
