About the role: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Cricklewood. In this part-time role, you'll be working closely with students who require extra support with their learning. Whether it's helping children catch up in small group interventions or offering one-on-one support, you'll play a key role in making a positive difference in the classroom. If you're passionate about working with young learners and have a keen interest in supporting students with special educational needs, this role is ideal for you. As a KS2 TA, you’ll also be involved in booster sessions, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive and achieve their best.

Application Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with children in a school setting.
• An interest or experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for supporting the learning and development of young children.
• A DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting KS2 pupils during lessons, helping them engage with the curriculum.
• Leading small group interventions to assist students who need additional help.
• Providing one-on-one support for students with special educational needs.
• Collaborating with the class teacher to plan and deliver effective learning activities.
• Assisting in managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment.
