We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to join our team at a thriving Secondary School in Chesterfield. This is a full-time, possibly permanent role, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

General maintenance and upkeep of the school premises
Ensuring the school grounds are clean, safe, and secure
Basic repairs and improvements to facilities
Liaising with external contractors when necessary
Managing health and safety compliance across the site
Supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the schoolWhat We're Looking For:

Previous caretaking or site management experience (preferred but not essential)
Good practical skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Proactive and able to work independently
Ability to respond to emergencies and prioritise tasks effectivelyWorking Hours:

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (flexibility required for some early mornings and evenings)This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real difference in a vibrant school community.
