Job Description

The Red Gate Group is seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our HR department in Chantilly, VA. This hybrid role requires two days per week in the office. The HR Coordinator will ensure compliance with legal requirements, support benefits administration, facilitate employee onboarding and termination, and contribute to employee engagement and training programs. The role demands excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure HR policies, procedures, and reporting comply with legal requirements.

Communicate policies, laws, standards, and benefits information to employees and management.

Support benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, and invoice reconciliation.

Assist in new hire and annual open enrollments; engage with brokers as needed.

Create and maintain internal training and professional development programs.

Conduct employee onboarding and termination activities.

Work with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

Plan and recommend company events and activities.

Manage the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), keeping employee records and generating reports.

Process new hire E-Verify information and employment verifications.

Assist with security investigator requests and maintain office supplies and site security cards.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
