Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

Location: Olathe, Kansas

Salary: Midpoint Pay: $33 - $40 per hour

Shift/Weekend/On-call Differentials:

Evening Shift (1500-2230): $3.50

Night Shift (2300-0730): $5.00

Weekend Shift (1500 Friday to 0659 Monday): $2.25

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Med Surg RN to join our 2 South unit. This full-time, night shift role (1900-0700) requires work every third weekend and on holidays as needed. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, including both adult and pediatric medical-surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver patient care to medical-surgical adult and pediatric patients

Utilize equipment such as Alaris Infusion Pumps, Alaris PCAs, Stryker and Umano Beds, GE Wireless Telemetry, and Masimo Roots with Patient Safety Net

Maintain accurate documentation and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Manage patient care efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Ensure patient safety and provide exceptional bedside care

Qualifications:

Required:

Active RN license in Kansas (KS)

1 year of hospital RN experience

ACLS certification

Preferred:

BSN (will consider ADN with a commitment to obtaining BSN within 5 years)
