About Us:

Located in the heart of Barnet, our school is a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment where children thrive and develop a lifelong love of learning. We are proud of our supportive and close-knit community, where staff, pupils, and parents work together to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child.

Our school is committed to providing a rich and balanced curriculum that not only focuses on academic achievement but also fosters creativity, independence, and emotional well-being. We believe that every child is unique, and our goal is to ensure that all children feel valued, confident, and supported in their learning journey.

The Role:

Use a range of creative teaching methods to inspire and engage pupils, incorporating play-based learning, practical activities, and technology.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, using formative and summative assessments to inform your planning and ensure that all children are on track to achieve their goals.
Work closely with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and involving them in their child's learning journey.
Collaborate with colleagues, sharing ideas and resources and contributing to the development of a supportive and dynamic teaching team.
Manage classroom behaviour in a positive and constructive way, promoting our school values of respect, kindness, and resilience.

A passion for working with young children, and the creativity and enthusiasm to make learning fun, engaging, and meaningful.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Excellent behaviour management skills, with the ability to create a calm, positive, and supportive learning environment.
A reflective and proactive approach, with the drive to continually improve your teaching practice and contribute to the wider school community.
A child-centred approach, with a genuine belief in the potential of every child and a commitment to helping them succeed.

Why Join Us?

By joining our school, you will become part of a dedicated and caring team that is committed to creating the best possible learning experience for every child. We offer:

A supportive and welcoming school community, where staff work collaboratively to share ideas, support each other, and provide the best for our pupils.
Opportunities for professional development, including access to training, workshops, and leadership development programs.
A creative and engaging curriculum, with the freedom to innovate and bring your ideas to life in the classroom.
A nurturing and inclusive environment, where both staff and pupils are encouraged to thrive, grow, and succeed.
A commitment to well-being, with a focus on work-life balance and support for all staff.
Competitive salary in line with your experience and qualifications.
