Business Development Manager / Account Manager

Location: Loughton, Essex / London Hybrid

Salary: Up to £80,000 basic + Commission

Our Client specialises in mechanical and electrical energy solutions, including consultancy, design, supply and installation. They are experiencing growth and is looking for dedicated professionals to contribute to its success.

Role Overview:
Our Client are seeking a Business Development Account Manager for the Service & Maintenance department. This role focuses on managing and expanding our client base in commercial contracts, end users, the public sector, healthcare and facilities management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Professional Representation: Always represent the company professionally and protect the company's interests.

* Client Relationship Development: Cultivate existing relationships to secure maintenance, repairs, and remedial works sales.

* Client Satisfaction: Ensure good working relationships with existing customers to maintain their loyalty.

* Project Acquisition: Win project work from new and existing customers.

* Procedural Compliance: Adhere to special works procedures to protect the business commercially and contractually.

* Cost Management: Keep cost sheets updated and ensure deposits are secured before commencing work.

* Order Conversion: Turn project leads into orders.

* Project Delivery Support: Facilitate project delivery, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, with detailed handovers when necessary.

* New Business Development: Bring in new clients and develop business from existing customer bases.

* Growth Facilitation: Drive growth in all areas.

* Accurate Forecasting: Maintain an accurate pipeline for service and projects for Directors’ review.

* Additional Duties: Perform other duties as directed by the Directors.

Performance Measurement:

* Quarterly Sales Targets: Achieve sales targets for both service and maintenance and projects.

* Sales Forecasting: Maintain a pipeline spreadsheet for potential sales.

* Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate costings on the cloud drive and Job Logic.

* Maximizing Opportunities: Report on opportunities from the existing customer base.

* Service and Maintenance Turnover: Achieve a turnover of £1,200,000 from clients.

* Bonus Opportunity: Earn a discretionary bonus based on individual performance against sales targets.
