Overview:
Kimley-Horn's Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA) office is seeking a Construction Engineer with 8+ years of experience to join their Data Center team! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities:
Site visits
PCSM inspections with documentation
Close outs: CS forms, as-builts, EPS Coordination, etc.
Respond to RFI's and submittals
Join OAC calls
Coordinate with client construction team, CM, GC, site subcontractors, third party reviewers, etc.
Assist in field revision design/coordination
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projects
You will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationships
You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors
Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant engineering construction engineering experience in some combination of industrial, institutional, manufacturing, commercial, renewable energy, power generation, and data center projects
Experience with PCSM inspections, documentation, punch walks, and close out efforst with general contractors and owners
Experience responding to RFI's and submittals
Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards
Professional Engineering (P.E.) License is a plus
CPESC preferred or ability to obtain
PennDOT close out experience is a plus
