Work on budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
Perform analysis on financial data to aid decision-making
Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial processes
Manage and reconcile accounts
Support internal and external audits
Assist in other accounting tasks as needed
Speak to suppliers over the phone
Journals, debits & creditsProfile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
A degree in Accounting or a relevant field
AAT Qual
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to work well in a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
