About the Role:

I am actively seeking a skilled Senior Structural Technician to join a busy, successful Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Weston-Super-Mare office. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to advance their career in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce General Arrangement and Detail Drawings for Steel, Masonry, Timber, and Reinforced Concrete structures.
Ensure adherence to relevant British Standards and Eurocodes with a focus on Reinforced Concrete detailing.
Work closely with the Associate Director and Drawing Office Manager to support project delivery.
Delegate tasks to junior technicians and oversee the quality control of all drawings produced by the team.
Provide mentorship to junior technicians, helping them enhance their technical skills and understanding of the construction process.
Collaborate with the design team and assist in the development of Building Information Modelling (BIM) capabilities.Essential Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years' experience in building structures, with a strong focus on Reinforced Concrete detailing.
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with BIM is advantageous.
Experience in producing drawings for various structural materials, including Steel, Masonry, and Timber.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach.Salary and benefits:
