Job Summary:
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
Assist with the setup and maintenance of user accounts and access permissions.
Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
Document and track support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement improvements.
Provide training and support to end-users on various software applications and IT procedures.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field/equivalent experience.
Proven 1-2 years of experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
Familiarity with network protocols, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
