About the role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting students through targeted interventions and boosters, helping them to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about working with children and have a strong understanding of special educational needs.

Application Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting, is highly desirable.

• Qualifications: A relevant qualification or certification in education or child development is beneficial.

• Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.

• Passion: A genuine passion for supporting children’s education and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Classroom Learning: Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and provide one-on-one or small group support to students requiring additional help.

• Boosters and Interventions: Implement targeted interventions and booster sessions to support students in achieving their academic goals.

• Promote Inclusive Education: Help create an inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.

• Monitor and Assess Progress: Observe and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and adapting support strategies as needed.

• Foster a Positive Learning Atmosphere: Encourage and maintain a positive, productive classroom environment that supports student engagement and learning.
