Yorkshire Cancer Research is entering an exciting period in its development. As part of this, we are expanding our team at our Head Office, and several new roles are being created.

We are now looking for a Deputy Shop Manager to join us on a part-time, permanent basis, working 22.5 hours per week.

The Role

As a Deputy Shop Manager, you will assist in setting up our brand-new shop in Hull, ensuring smooth retail activities and providing exceptional customer service.

Assisting the Shop Manager with the day-to-day operation of the shop, you’ll manage a team of volunteers, ensure compliance with all operational, financial and safety standards and support the delivery of the highest standards of customer service.

Additionally, you’ll support the Shop Manager to maximise income through active stock management, replenishment and rotation, and help to maintain a welcoming, positive work environment for customers and volunteers.

About You

To be considered as a Deputy Shop Manager, you will need:

- Experience of managing people and/or volunteers including recruitment and development
- To be highly organised with good time management skills
