We are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing company based in Hull, East Yorkshire. This is a full time and permanent role. The company has been operating for over 50 years and is part of an international group. This role is a genuine opportunity to join a company and learn new skills.
The shift pattern is 4 on 4 off – 2 days 06:30am – 18:30pm and 2 nights 18:30pm – 06:30am and then 4 days off – over an 8 day Rota.
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer role involves:
* Completing electrical maintenance on inverters, drives, PLCs, motors & control systems.
* Fault finding / diagnostic skills.
* Working with H&S systems, lock off / tag off procedures.
* Reading and understanding circuit diagrams.
* Working on large heavy machinery such as conveyors, furnaces, crushers, separation machinery, blenders, mixers, robotic palletizers, etc.
* Breakdown response to reduce machine downtime as much as possible
* Increase efficiency through thorough execution of PPM planned maintenances schedules
* Help maintain quality of engineering stores via correct usage and communications
* Utilizing CMMS for planned and unplanned maintenance
We're looking for the following;
* Previous electrical maintenance experience (preferably 2yrs or more)
* Previous mechanical maintenance experience (preferably 2yrs or more)
* Time served apprenticeship/Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in maintenance engineering
* 18th edition electrical qualifications
* Good Fault finding and root cause analysis skills
* Previous experience with PPM and TPM systems
* Good interpersonal skills
* Computer literacy
* PLC and programming experience.
