Our client, located in Basildon is on the lookout for a Trainee Business Development Manager to join their sales team. If you’re looking for a start in the motor trade and would like to find out more – contact us now!
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Actively and tenaciously seek out new business opportunities via sales, cold calling, networking events and identifying opportunities.
* Prepare, submit, follow up and report on quotations.
* Promptly respond to customer requests, in a professional and efficient manner, providing an exceptional customer service
* Provide technical specialist back-up to the sales team.
* Shadow senior sales members to learn about the day-to-day role, including external sales meetings with new prospects and existing customers.
* Support the sales team fully with day-to-day sales activities, including telesales, marketing activities helping to deliver and improve brand awareness across social media platforms.
Your Background & Skill:
* No experience necessary as full training is provided. However, if you have telesales experience this would be an advantage.
* Good communication skills – written and verbal.
* Ability to engage with customers face to face and via the telephone.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload effectively.
* Willingness to learn and develop.
