As a Collaboration & Innovation Lead Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of electrified powertrains, driving innovation, and collaboration within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. The role offers a competitive rate of up to £41.60/hr Umbrella (inside IR35).

What You Will Do:

Lead and manage funded projects, ensuring delivery to timing, budget, and quality standards while minimising risks.
Coordinate with external auditors to compile auditable evidence and reports.
Identify external opportunities for collaborative R&D projects and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Establish cross-party collaboration agreements and support intellectual property disclosures and patent applications.
Take ownership of large in-flight projects, leading multidisciplinary teams to success.
Lead critical funding applications, driving the creation of compelling bids.
What You Will Bring:

Strong project management skills, including budget analysis.
Experience in coordinating and writing bids for funding (e.g., UKRI, Innovate UK, Horizon Europe).
Working knowledge of the UK funding landscape.
Proven track record of managing complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging across all organisational levels.
Relevant educational background, preferably a Bachelor's degree in engineering, or significant industry experience.
