Internal Communications Officer

Hybrid – Bradford Office and homeworking

Salary is up to £33,436

37.5 hours per week, permanent

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Internal Communications Officer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in supporting our Business Plan objectives by delivering internal communications campaigns and managing projects that engage both colleagues and residents. Working with internal teams across central support and housing operations, you’ll help ensure that our messages are clear, consistent, and impactful.

Responsibilities will include:

* Working alongside internal communications colleagues and housing operations to deliver effective internal communications campaigns aligned with our Business Plan priorities.

* Managing specific internal and resident communication projects/campaigns as directed by the Senior Internal Communications Manager, including selecting appropriate channels and determining the communication approach.

* Overseeing the production of colleague and resident online and print publications, managing timelines, proposing content, commissioning articles, writing content, and collaborating with the Design Team to ensure high-quality outputs.

* Monitoring the effectiveness of communication campaigns and channels, providing insights and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role we’d like you to have/be:

* Educated to Degree level or equivalent, with relevant training or experience and evidence of continued professional development.

* A professional qualification in communications is desirable.

* Experience in internal or stakeholder communications within a customer-facing, regulated environment.

* Proficiency in producing communications across various platforms including email, social media, blogs, and video, and familiarity with databases.

* Knowledge of the older people’s housing and care sectors is highly advantageous.
