Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning
Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
Support students' academic and personal development
Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership to ensure the highest standards of teaching
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and extracurricular activities as required

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
Strong knowledge of the English national curriculum
Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A passion for teaching and making a positive impact on students' learning
