The ideal candidate will have an RGN qualification and a proven track record of leading and managing nursing teams effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing team, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring they meet the individual needs of patients and comply with best practices.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of clinical practices to maintain and improve service quality.
- Manage and support the training and development of nursing staff, ensuring continuous professional development.
- Handle any clinical incidents or complaints, conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification is essential.
- Experience in nursing management or a similar leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical skills with a comprehensive understanding of current nursing practices and standards.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team.
