Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Shipping Team Lead to join our growing team. The Shipping Team Lead responsibilities are assisting the department supervisor with daily planning and guiding with direct staff members to complete the internet shipping mandates in an efficient and timely manner. Must handle all department demands, expectations, deadline, administration duties, trouble shoot, and problem solve.
Position Responsibilities
Ensuring team members follow proper procedures, enforce good safety practices, department productivity and quality goals are achieved.
Assisting with the training and follow up of new team members.
Maintaining excellent cross-functional and interdepartmental communication.
Directs and oversees the Internet process of picking, sorting, packing, and processing to meet customer deadlines
Assist picking supervisors to help navigate and prioritize orders.
Monitor systems and emails frequently to ensure customer satisfaction
Keep work areas clean and clear of safety hazards
Qualifications:
Position Qualifications and Requirements
Able good flexibility for work hours availability and can work weekends.
2-3 year's supervisory or team lead experience with direct reports.
E-commerce shipping or receiving experience.
High School Diploma/GED
Read, write, and understand the English language (Spanish is a plus+)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills.
Ability to lift 50-pounds and operate various materials handling equipment including fork trucks and pallet jacks.
Maintain and promote workplace safety
Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
