Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a Fulltime Registered Dietitian to support Rossville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Baltimore and Montcare Potomac, a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Potomac, MD.  This fulltime clinical RD will support our Sodexo RDs at both locations onsite 4 days/week, and will provide remote support or onsite support to neighboring accounts 1 day/week.

The successful candidate will:

be a Registered Dietitian;

be licensed in Maryland;

have experience working in a skilled nursing facility, preferred;

provide nutritional care to the residents in skilled nursing including long-term care and rehab;

be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences; and/or

represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
