Our client is a fantastic, well-resourced and successful SEND school located in the borough of Greenwich, South London, they are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed secondary Learning Support Assistant to join a talented and supportive team!
If you are passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential and want to work in a school striving to provide the very best opportunities for your students, this could be the role for you!
The successful SEND LSA candidate will be a flexible, positive and enthusiastic person, who loves working with secondary age students with special needs and helping them to achieve their potential.
The successful LSA candidate will ideally:
* Hold a Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
* Have GCSEs in English and maths A - C or equivalent
Our client is looking for someone who:
* has compassion, empathy & professionalism - experience is a plus NOT a must!
* has a desire to work with students on the Autism spectrum
* has high expectations and is passionate about encouraging the best from every pupil, enabling every child to fulfil their potential
* is able to contribute to, and work as part of a team
* has excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude
* has effective time management and an ability to work on own initiative
