Provide customer service and assistance to customers, outside sales, and operations teams. The position will report to the Branch Manager.

Essential Functions:

Answer incoming phone calls, disburse messages, and manage email flow

Submit sales orders to the appropriate software

Understand the ERP application at a beginner level

Perform customer service functions

Enter direct ship orders and purchase orders into the applicable program

Understands and interprets technical language regarding pump sizing, including GPM, TDH, power requirement voltage, phase, amps

Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification

Requirements

Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook at a basic level

Experience in agricultural, residential, or industrial pumping

Experience with rotating equipment, liquid pumps, and motors

Ability to work overtime

Technical Aptitude: understands and interprets technical language regarding pump sizing, including GPM, TDH, power requirement voltage, phase, amps

Initiative: takes ownership of work without being asked

Education Required:

High school diploma or equivalent required

1 to 2 years of previous experience in inside sales or customer service roles

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain at a stationary position 50% of the time

Ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds

Work Environment:

The duties of the job are primarily performed in an office environment

There is some exposure to noise in the work environment, which is usually moderate

This position is not eligible for telework
