Are you an experienced Generator Engineer?

Interested in joining a market leader with industry leading training?

Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting a Generator Engineer to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to provide onsite customer support to our range of generator machinery within the region, with a primary focus on keeping the machinery in peak operating condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £18 ph, depending on experience, plus:
Cash back Health Plan
Private Pension
Death in Service cover (X3 annual wage)
Sick pay (3 months after 2 years of service)
Free Legal Advice
22 days holiday (Increases with service)
Uniform and PPE provided
Travel paid

Reporting to the Service Manager your responsibilities will include:

You will be required to work both in a workshop and site environment
Electrically and mechanically qualified
Be able to do mechanical and electrical fault finding
Repair and service of generators
Repair and service of associated equipment
Investigate, diagnose and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment
Service equipment both on and off site
Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems
Complete paperwork and timesheets in a timely manner
Good customer service skills
Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers
Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment
Ensure work/personal equipment complies with all safety standards
Present a professional image at all times
Take responsibility for health and safety of self, colleagues and customers in line with the Company Health and Safety Policy

The ideal candidate:

Minimum of 3 years experience within the Generator Industry
UK Driving License
Preferably apprentice trained
Preferably have some experience working with Access Equipment
