Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Field Service Generator Engineer covering the Essex and Berkshire area on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will provide onsite customer support to a range of generator machinery within the region, with a primary focus on keeping the machinery in peak operating condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Working in both a workshop and site environment

· Electrical and mechanical repairs and duties

· Electrical and mechanical fault finding

· Repairing and servicing generators

· Investigating, diagnosing and resolving customer reports of technical problems

· Providing excellent customer service

· Ensuring compliance with relevant procedures while inspecting and repairing equipment

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:

· Solid mechanical aptitude

· Minimum 5 years generator experience

· Knowledge of engines, alternators, control panels and wiring diagrams

· Diagnostic and leadership skills able to work in a team or alone

· Driving License

· Excellent verbal, written and critical thinking skills

· Proficiency with MS Office

· Interpersonal relationships/ Customer awareness/ Commercial awareness

Working hours are Monday – Friday 40 hours weekly with overtime available.

In return our client offers a salary between £15.00 - £18.50 per hour, with overtime paid at time and a half.
