Responsibilities:

Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for focusing on new customer acquisition, selling advanced systems integration projects and managed IT services to mid-sized organizations within North America.  The successful candidate will be well-versed in the art of complex environments by utilizing proven solution/consultative selling methodologies and skill sets. This professional must be extremely proficient in prospecting for new customers, networking, and relationship building throughout client organizations to include all C-level executives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close new logo average contract values of $1M - $5M within a defined target market

Successfully sell to mid-market commercial organizations by combining multiple service pillars: Business Applications (Consulting, Implementation, and Management), Data Analytics, Custom Application Development, Cloud Advancement, Managed Security, Workforce Productivity, and Full IT Outsourcing

Define a phased vision for customers, outcome success, win themes, and value proposition by combining technical modernization, financial situational improvement, risk mitigation, and organizational efficiencies

Develop and lead creative deal shapes, commercial structures, and pricing proposals as part of a winning sales pursuit, while working closely with all practices

Leverage all facets of lead generation including, but not limited to outbound lead generation, technology alliance partners (such as Microsoft, ServiceNow, AWS), industry associations, and a strong personal network

Effectively engage and converse with C-level contacts

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in related field from an accredited college or university

Experience

Customarily has at least 3 years of new customer acquisition business development experience, overall program envisioning, proposal development

Customarily has at least 3 years of consulting and program leadership experience for impactful business and technology programs, information technology outsourcing, etc.

Experience with complex sales pursuits positioning, bundling, and selling the following services preferred:Business Applications Services (ERP, Business Management Applications): Business Applications Consulting, Business Applications Implementation, Managed Application Support

Data Insights: Business Intelligence, Analytics Consulting, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence

Application Development: Custom Development, Quality Assurance, UI/UX Design and Development, DevOps Services

Infrastructure Services: Full Outsourced IT, Cloud Advancement Services, Managed Security, IT Consulting, public cloud resell (Azure, AWS)

Prior experience transforming businesses with full-services systems integrations and IT outsourcing firms, a plus

Salary Range 

The following information is required by the California Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of California. The anticipated starting pay range for Irvine, CA applicants for this role is $125,523 - $174,000 with a median of $147,000. You will aslo be qualified to participate in a quota based commision program. Actual compensation is impacted by a number of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, specific work locations and any potential licenses and certifications required for that role
