Express Employment is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Tier 1 manufacturing facility and ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Set production goals and targets, and develop strategies to meet and exceed them

Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency and minimize waste

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment

Train and mentor production workers to develop their skills and enhance productivity

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any production-related issues and implement improvements

Report on production performance and provide regular updates to management

Requirements

Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks

Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles is highly desirable

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Knowledge of health and safety regulations
