Express Employment is excited to announce an opening for a Weekend Shift Production Supervisor at a Tier I Supplier. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of production during the weekend shift, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently while meeting production goals. This is a Friday to Sunday Day Shift and Monday Night Shift opening.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead production teams during the weekend shift, ensuring adherence to safety and production standards

Develop and implement strategies to achieve weekly production targets

Monitor equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise

Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Provide training and guidance to production staff to enhance their skills and efficiency

Collaborate with management and other departments to resolve production-related challenges

Document and report on production metrics and team performance during the weekend shift

Requirements

Prior experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar capacity within manufacturing

Ability to work effectively during the weekend shift

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production metrics

Exceptional leadership and team management skills

Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
