Internal Sales Representative – Aerospace Metals Industry

Location: Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands (B76)

Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 basic salary per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm)

We are looking for an Internal Sales Representative to join our dynamic team based in Sutton Coldfield. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading supplier in the aerospace industry, providing a range of metal products including aluminium, titanium, steel, and other specialised materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and sell a wide range of metal products to the aerospace sector

Develop and maintain relationships with customers within your assigned territory

Manage customer records, process orders, and ensure timely responses to enquiries

Reactivate dormant accounts and proactively seek out new business opportunities

Provide technical data and support to customers as needed

Conduct regular territory reviews and provide feedback to management on market trends and competitor activity

Collaborate with Sales Managers to plan and execute customer visits and meetings

Support the accounts team with credit-related issues and ensure timely debt collection

Participate in sales meetings, contribute industry insights, and drive improvements

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential: Proven experience in sales or business development within the metal or aerospace distribution sectors

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships

Experience working with CRM or order processing systems (e.g., StelPlan)
