On behalf of our client, Eriez Manufacturing Co., Decision Associates is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director. Established in 1942, Eriez is a global leader in separation technologies, a market force in several key technology areas, including magnetic separation, flotation, metal detection and material handling equipment. Headquartered in Erie, Pennsylvania, USA, Eriez provides trusted technical solutions to the mining, food, recycling, packaging and other processing industries. 

The Human Resources Director oversees the Human Resources function at Eriez USA and will focus on creating and implementing processes, programs, and policies that help the company achieve its strategic goals as well as representing Eriez USA in global Eriez initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Align with Company Goals: Actively support and advance the company’s objectives by demonstrating performance that reflects Eriez’s values.

Leadership Intelligence: Model strong leadership skills including emotional intelligence and strategic thinking, while designing and promoting leadership development programs that empower current and future leaders to excel and drive organizational success.

Strategic and Workforce Planning: Offer insights and advice on strategic planning and workforce management from a Human Resources perspective.

Workforce Systems: Champion the development and implementation of policies, tools, training programs, and systems that foster a culture of high-performance, accountability, excellence and continuous improvement across the organization.

Employee Programs: Develop and implement programs to improve employee retention, engagement, and planning.

Talent Management: Provide coaching and guidance to help advance talent management efforts and maintain a consistent company culture.

HR Operations Management: Oversee Eriez USA HR operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and ongoing improvements.

Learning and Development: Lead strategies for employee training and development to ensure workforce has the skills needed for current and future business needs.

Workforce Systems: Implement and manage systems that encourage desired performance and support employee development.

Total Rewards Strategy: Develop and maintain strategies for compensation and rewards to attract and retain talent and motivate employees.

Compensation Analysis: Ensure that compensation is competitive by conducting benchmarking, analysis, and market monitoring.

Change Management: Support strategic business goals by leading and managing change effectively.

Analytics and Metrics: Use data and metrics to monitor trends and identify needs in alignment with business goals.

Special Projects: Contribute to HR projects, including compensation studies, job grade structures, and engagement initiatives based on KPIs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources, business management or a related discipline required. SHRM, HRCI, or related professional credentials are a bonus.

10+ years' progressive experience in HR management

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; analysis and modeling expertise. Experience using an HRIS/ERP solution; familiarity with market pricing tools (ERI, Marketpay, Payfactors, etc.;) strong data orientation, demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Broad knowledge of applicable labor and employment laws and compliance best practices, including the administration of effective employee policies and procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Experience with organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, succession, talent development, and compensation and benefits.
