Contract Manager

Responsible for works predominantly on our Commercial Gas Service and Maintenance contracts - from initial breakdowns and servicing, right through to the final invoice submission. The role is focused on providing value for money while adhering to strict regulations which govern every aspect of the Gas industry.

Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 Hours per week, 8am-5pm

Salary: Circa £60,000 per annum

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Liaising with internal/external stakeholders

• Develop and maintain sound working relationships

• Oversee and assist the team of contract coordinators to meet service delivery demands

• Provide an efficient and timely responses to maintain high levels of service delivery

• Identify work streams and prioritise workload to ensure it is completed within Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)

• Support and liaise with the Field Operations manager

• Support management of all business areas by providing analysis and reporting information

• Maintain accurate and effective files/records, including use of our job management system

• Adopt and apply the company escalation processes

• Manage their own work and jobs and deliver to high standards

• Represent the company in client meetings

• Provide information and attend resource meetings with company management, to ensure correct staffing levels are achieved

• Have a visionary approach and strategic thought process

• Create quotations based on site surveys and information provided by engineers ensuring all items are communicated with external stakeholders

• Capture all revenue streams available

• Assist with day to day running of gas servicing and heating departments

• Resolve technical problems/communication with staff, analysing data, and identifying solutions

• Provide an investigatory role, responding to incidents, notices, concerns and queries

• Provide information by answering questions and requests to engineers & clients

• Maintains contract KPI’s and quality standards of the company by installing efficiently and safely with a high-quality finish.

• Deliver a high-quality service to the client and their customers, having respect for all individuals and meeting the challenges presented

Experience, skills and qualifications required for the role:

• 5 Years of industry experience and 2 years of experience at management level

• Experience of working within the Social Housing sector on commercial gas/renewable maintenance contracts.

• Experience Supervising others

• Experience of working with residents and clients directly

• A clean UK driving license and DBS check will be required.

• Experience of contract tendering, mobilisation and delivery

• Excellent written communication and verbal skills

• Computer-literate and experience in Microsoft Software

• Excellent planning and organisational skills

• Able to prioritise workload and use initiative at all times

• General competence in the given trade, COCN1, CODNCO1, TCP1a

Pay: £60,000.00 per year
