EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a precision engineering company located on the outskirts of South Birmingham working on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the Manufacturing Manager in achieving objectives

* Create robust programs for EDM/Laser machinery

* Designing jigs, fixtures and press tools

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

* Previous experience in Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Power Generation, Medical, Nuclear industries

* Minimum 4 years experience in Programming either Laser machines or Wire EDM machines

* Experience in Multi-axis Laser Programming and/or EDM & Wire Programming skills and/or Press Tool design

* Able to create jigs and fixtures

* Engineering competence with Solidworks or similar CAD packages

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
