Mechanical Project Manager

My client is a large, market leading, privately-owned Building Services contractor with a deep history, renowned for successfully delivering major Building Services projects across the South East of England, with sectors including Residential, Commercial, Data Centres, Science & Technology and more.
Working alongside an equivalent Electrical Project Manager and reporting to a Project Director, a Mechanical Project Manager is required to deliver the mechanical installation of a £7.5m M&E warehouse project in East London. Starting on site in October 2024, you will see the project through from pre-construction to handover.

Bonus potentialRoles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Pre-construction, procurement, and planning of project before site works commence.
Ensure project estimates are accurate and the project scope is executable with close alignment to the Quantity Surveyor
Technical submittals, RFI’s, noticing and rectifying flaws in design
Communicate project, subcontractor and package updates to engineering team, management and supervisors
Health & Safety – investigating and reporting on any injuries that occur on site
Regular progress reports to the Directors and client
Delegation of works to the project team
