About the role: HLTA: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and diverse primary school in Brent, London. This is a full-time, long-term role where you will play a key part in supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, enhancing their learning experience, and helping to drive academic success. You will work closely with the teaching staff, leading small groups, covering lessons, and providing targeted intervention when necessary. • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in Key Stage 1 or 2.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage small groups and lead classes when required.
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting class teachers across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Leading small group activities and interventions.
• Covering classes and delivering lessons in the teacher's absence.
• Providing one-on-one support to students who need additional help.
• Assisting with the preparation of lesson plans and materials.
