GSL Education is seeking an experienced Sociology Teacher to step into an exciting opportunity in Haringey, starting immediately. This is a unique 1:1 teaching role, working with highly capable students who have medical needs—no challenging behaviour involved. This position involves A-Level Sociology tutoring, with a bright student who achieved a B last term, alongside supporting three GCSE Year 11 students.
What You'll Be Doing:
Sociology Specialist: You will be responsible for teaching A-Level and GCSE Sociology, helping students to excel academically.
1:1 Support: Providing tailored education to a very bright student at GCSE-level and Alevel students.
Outreach Programme: Long-term commitment of 2 days a week in Sociology Outreach.
Location: Haringey
We Are Looking For:
Strong Subject Knowledge: You must have experience in teaching A-Level and GCSE Sociology and be ready to start immediately.
Adaptability: Ideally, you have experience working with students who have special educational needs in a school or outreach setting.
Passion for Education: A genuine commitment to student success, helping them achieve their academic goals.
Experience: While there is no challenging behaviour, experience in managing students with medical needs and SEN is a plus.
