GCSE and A- Level Sociology Teacher

Part time - flexible, days and hours can potentially be extended if looking for more hours

The Role

The school are looking for a Sociology Teacher with QTS.

This role is open to both newly qualified and established Teacher. In this role you will be teaching A- Level GCSE and A-Level Sociology to a group of very bright pupils. you will play a pivotal role in the success of the pupils through helping students develop their skills and reach their maximum potential through the delivery of courses and contributing to the development of School curriculum and student experience.

You will deliver engaging lessons across a range of topics following the curriculum.

The ideal candidates will have experience of teaching in a School environment and up to date knowledge of subject area, syllabus, and teaching methods, alongside the following qualifications:

Degree in a relevant subject

English and Math's or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent

QTS

The School is part of a trust that support young people who have missed out significantly on schooling for example due to chronic illnesses or hospital and medical needs to become socially and emotionally for the next steps. This is not a SEN School and the pupils are from mainstream education.
