Our client have a fantastic opportunity for a Snr Sous/ Head Chef to join their highly talented team, for a central popular 4 star hotel in Weybridge.
Previous Hotel experience is preffered

The Client
Under the guidance of the Exec Chef you will be given a fantastic development opportunity. As Sous Chef you will need to be a good leader, hands on in the kitchen cooking with the team, running the pass, however also be a good organiser and planner and able to maintain and drive H&S and do food ordering in line with specifications and food GP. Work closely with Executive chef and run everything in his absence. Above all you will be a strong team player managing a talented team of 10.
The site hosts The 1 AA Rosette restaurant bar and grill and bar – a contemporary concept with with the highest quality throughout. The Hotel also has a busy events schedule. This job is varied with changing menus and new developments coming frequently.
As Chef You will be fundamental to the running of the kitchen, producing beautifully modern, classically inspired dishes based entirely around seasonal menus.

Requirements
An ideal candidate for this Sous Chef Position would be
Strong on standards,
A leader,
Strong health and safety knowledge and knoledge food costs as number 2 in the kitchen.
Able to work unsupervised to a committed level showing 100% enthusiasm and passion for their role in the team.
Self-motivated and proactive
Innovative, passionate and forward thinking
Able to work efficiently under pressure
Happy to work a varied early and late shift pattern
Have great time management skills
Ideally you will have:
Previous Proven experience in a relavent Chef role
Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
Hours
48hrs a week – 12 hr days 4 days on and 3 days off.
